Forza Motorsport 3 - Week in Review (4/9)
The Road & Track pack hits this Tuesday, and after a week of teasers, debates and contests the cars are ready to be revealed. Sporting a collection of vehicles just begging to be pushed to their limits, this new car pack is a racer and tuner’s paradise. After playing with the cars earlier today, I am really looking forward to where these cars will be taken by the community. Prepare to hop into a set of production and concept cars like the Australian favorite Holden HSV W427, the unique Mazda MX-5 Superlite, and the beastly 2010 Ford Taurus SHO. This pack contains ten powerful and versatile cars which leave a lot of room to grow. When it comes to their PI, I think everyone who picks this one up, especially you tuners out there, will have a lot of fun taking the cars to new levels. Enough teasing though, for the final list of cars included in this pack, make sure to head on over to Road & Track . They also have all the winners (is your name on it?) of the Spy Shot contest listed which ran this week so stop by and see if you placed! After you’ve finished reading up on the winners at Road & Track, make sure to check out the spec sheets in our news section to get a detailed list of what each car will be capable of out of the box. There is a ton of info listed such as stock Performance Index, car weight, horsepower, torque and more. The Road & Track car pack hits Xbox Live on Tuesday April 13th for 400 Microsoft points. Now, just because the Road & Track spy shot contest is over does not mean the fun has to come to a close. The staff over at Road & Track will be holding a new set of really awesome contests next week which will target the different skill sets found in the Forza community. I think everyone here will get a real kick out of these. I don’t want to give away but I think you guys might be able to guess where it may be going. I will say this, be ready to bring you’re A-Game. This series of contests will be open to gamers WORLDWIDE and will feature some very cool prizes from Road & Track and Fanatec . Turn 10 will be giving away Road & Track codes starting today which will run until Tuesday when the Road & Track car pack is released. This will range from car trivia, to random retweets contests. I will tweet an update before I post the trivia so keep your eyes peeled! The codes will be sent to the winners on Tuesday morning. Those of you who are into Avatar gear are in for a neat surprise. Next week we have some really fun items which will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace which include this awesome remote controlled Audi R8 that your Avatar will play with once it goes idle. Expect the full list of Avatar Items to be revealed on Monday, we will have lots pictures and information on what will be available for sale. Mitsubishi took home the medal two weeks ago beating the BMW Prototype by a landslide. This week we have new cars getting ready to face off. We have Dodge returning to the car battle arena to try and redeem itself after suffering a loss a month ago. Squaring off against the Viper is Toyota making their first entry into the car battle arena. So let’s get to it, who is going to make their way into VIP inboxes all over the world.
